ART LESSONS IN HANOVER PARK

Ages 8 and up can take art classes at the A & A Music & Art Academy in charcoal, oil pastels, colored pencils, pen and ink, and water color. More experienced artists looking to progress their skills or perhaps learn a new medium are also welcome. Classes are offered in the evenings and on Saturdays, and they are kept small so that each student receives individualized attention. The two-hour lessons fly by as the students hone their abilities and complete each new piece of art.

DRAWING & PAINTING LESSONS

Basic drawing essentials start you off and the class expands as your skills develop. Options to add other media, e.g., colored pencil, pastels, pen & ink, graphite, and water color are offered. Classes are open to ages 8 and up. Pick the class time that fits best with your schedule.

Monday 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Friday 4:15-6:15 p.m. & 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 12:30-2:30 p.m.

$35 per 2-hour class, paid monthly after the first trial lesson.

Some class materials are an additional cost. At the first session, a list of required materials will be given.

In addition to weekly lessons, the academy offers the chance for the students to show off their talents for their family and friends. Art exhibitions for our budding artist students are also held locally or in the lower level of our building at the instructor’s discretion.
